Earl Lawrence Heyrend last photo age 86
This is the last photo of Earl Heyrend, husband of Geraldine N. Heyrend, father of Teresa Jean Heyrend, lyle Heyrend, Jack Heyrend, Douglas Heyrend, Joan Heyrend. He spent the last year of his life in three nursing homes in WA State against his will. Mr Heyrend was not a man who had much money, he was a career plasterer and cement mason. This is a dying profession and not in high demand. He did however work on the Salt Lake City Mormon Temple and many very special buildings. He could not afford to have any special instructions set up for his care and since his daughter could not afford to pay for special care at home, the state went to court and dispite Teresa Heyrends objections, they obtained guardianship over Earl, since his wife Geraldine was in a care facility and was very ill. The State of Wa decided to keep him in an Nursing facility and let his home go back to Wells Fargo Bank, not sell it. This totally depressed Earl and Geraldine who finally got to live together in a nursing facility in Tacoma.
