Frank and Frances Grajkoski wedding
The wedding of Frank Grajkoski (also spelled as Grajkowski and Graykowski) and Frances Zlatykanicz in about 1901. They were married at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Hamilton, Butler County, Ohio. They were also members of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Frances was born Francisca Zlatykanicz in 1881 in Muszyna, Poland. The daughter of Piotr "Petrus" "Peter" Zlatykanicz and Apolonia Franciszka Chmiewlowski. Frances' name is also spelled as Franciszka. She came to the U.S.A. in 1900 and lived in Hamilton, Butler Co, Ohio. Frances' sister, Bronislawa Rosalia "Bertha Rose" (Zlatykanicz) Sositko also came to Hamilton, Butler Co., Ohio in 1907.
Frances never had children. She was close to nieces and nephews. She was godmother to her niece, Helen Josephine (Sositko) Henry Cook. Helen Cook would often visit her Aunt Frances. This is remembered by Helen's daughter, Terry. Frances helped her brother, Andrew Zlatykanicz to raise his children (Andy, Stella, Alex, Jean and Helen Zlatykanicz) when their mother, Maggie died young.
