Ebbetts Field with the Dodgers playing their city rivals - the NY Giants. Standing room only. Can't remember who won...only that when a fly ball was hit you had to watch the fielder to determine where it went and how far. The interesting thing about this game was that it was later featured in a Look magazine article about the intercity rivalry between the Dodgers and the Giants .......and low and behold there was this picture of father and son Halkett along with a lot of other cheering fans in Look - a national magazine.
