Grandma Prentis and baby Dot
Julia is the daughter of Charles McKernan & Catherine(McDonell) McKernan. She was born in Miramichi, New Brunswick on June 2, 1874, and lived in New Hampshire until moving to Monson, MA with her parents. Julia married Hennry Eugene Fenner on June 28, 1890 in Monson. They had the following children: Jennie, Charles Francis, Harry James, Edward Raymond, Essex William and Luther. One of her later marriages was to Herbert S. Prentiss, who was a minister. The family has a postcard written by Julia and one grandson remembers that she liked to take care of plants. This is one of three photos taken at her son Ed Fenner's houseHer last living brother Edward was living in Brooklyn at the time of her death.
