Grandpa Bernard Benedict Uhl and Magdalen Steigmeyer
Ambrotype of my great-grandfather Bernard Benedict Uhl, and his first wife Magdalen Steigmeyer, taken near the date of their wedding. They had two sons, John Benedict Uhl and Jacob Peter Uhl, as well as a daughter who died in infancy.
He remarried and had eight more sons!
