Wedding picture of Henry Greene Vallance. He married Anna Jennettie Pearl Yount 6 November 1904 in Denton, Denton Co., Texas. After this picture was taken they moved to Plaska, Hall County, Texas to a farm Henry had purchased. In addition to the five children of his 1st marriage to Elizabeth Gollihue they raised seven children of their own. Henry was born in Greenup, Kentucky 17 Feb 1863 and died in Plaska, Texas on 14 Nov 1925 while taking a nap at their home. Pearl was born 2 Aug 1883 in Polk Co.,Missouri and died 24 April 1967 in Memphis, Hall Co., Texas. Henry was born as George G. Vallance to the late Carter and Nancy Hannah Vallance of Greenup, Greenup Co., Kentucky. He changed his name after moving to the Dallas Co., Texas when he was about 17 or 18 years old.
