Married to Mildred Hedwig Hammerbacher (DOB 11/20/1931) at Amelith St. John Lutheran Church, Bay County, MI on 4/14/1951. Had three daughters: Susan Marie Wuepper Crook (11/27/1954); Ruth Ann Wuepper Sutton (11/22/1955) and Jean Kathryn Wuepper Mead (6/14/1957). Howard was killed in a vehicular accident on 8/28/1957 en route to help a Monitor Twsp Fire Department call. He was 28 years old. Howard owned and operated a dairy and agricultural farm with his wife, Mildred.
