Ila Green Tally
Ila Green Tally was born 28 Dec 1888 in Texas and died 24 August 1963 in Dumas, Moore County Texas. She married Holland Lee Medford 1903 in Texas. They were the parents of ten children. Ila was living with her oldest son Gaston White Medford when she died. Family stories has it that Grandmother Ila was 1/4 Cherokee Indian but this has not been confirmed. She lived most of her life in Texas and California with several of her children after they were grown. She never worked outside the home.
