Jackson, Kentucky circa 1920

One of the Godforsaken places where my great grandparents, Dr. Frank Ellis and Laura Dickson Ellis, lived. Modern conveniences were almost unheard of back in those days in rural America. How he practiced medicine, I can't even imagine.
