James Charles b1829 SC, fought in the Civil War his mother was Martha Jane Wesson SC b1800. his father was Malachia born in NC,lived in SC and GA.grand father was Micajah Pickett from sc/nc his gm was Susannah Thompson Johns Ire & nc. His ggf was Micajah Sr born VA died NC. gggf was John Pickett b1675-1765 and Mary May or Mildmay or Mess found all three on web, from va. ggggf was Henry 1641-1702 (b England) and Sarah Southgate 1642-1699, 2 Elizabeth ?.

On The Church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints, It said that malachi,s wife was Martha Jane Wesson, Disc #104, Pin# 81432. So I guess that is correct.

I found paperwork where my Aunt Alice Pickett Curtis said that Malachi's wife was Mary (Martha
Jane Adams).

About the name of Malachi (Major) Charles Pickett, the name of his wife was margaret Adams
according to my Aunt Alice and Malachi was called
Major. His middle was Charles. I guess that is what was told to Alice.wife no 2 was Elizabeth Smith whom he married (no children). and James Charles also married again after Elizabeth Brintle he married no 2 Elizabeth Couper in Paulding Co GA. J C was B-Sep 30, 1829 D-Mar 8, 1910, Elizabeth was born Feb 9 1832,in Cobb Co GA, d-Feb 14, 1886 P C GA.Elizabeth father was
Albert Oliver Brintle and mother was Sarah (Sally) Brown. they were from Caswell Co NC.

One more child name for James Charles & Elizabeth Brintle Pickett.
Benjamin Franklin Pickett b1873 PC GA. I do not
know if this is their child or not. There is a
Benjamin Franklin Pickett who married Sarah Poole
but I was under the impression that he was Malachi Thomas decendent. He was born in 1875 &
and lived in Newnan GA, was supt of a school.

THIS WAS RESEARCH sent to Alice BY E. Powell. Alice Died in the 1980,s. Also I do not know about the Malachi Thomas I think he was Malachi
and Maragret(Mary) son I do not know if James
Charles had a son named Malach. I think Malachi and Mary had twins named Malcal and probably Malachi thomas were the twins.
