Bebe was grandaughter of Will and Ethel Bell West who were from Dallas, Paulding Co GA. This picture was taken about 1947. Bebe was raised in Atlanta GA.

This is Isaac Tant and Eizabeth Rawlings Bell they lived in Rome Ga in Cave Springs District near Martha Berry College they were born in 1800's and died in 1900.s in Dallas, Paulding Ga at the home of my grandfather Edwin Adolph Bell in the High Shoals Dist of Paulding Co Ga, Issac and Elzabeth had two sons Edwin and Ike. Issac T. father was Thompson Bell b 1800 in Augusta, Richmont Co, GA., he married Mary Williamson 8-21-1832, then he married Elizabeth Ann Tant 7-13-1836 in Richmond Co GA. In 1840/50 Thompson moved to Floyd Co GA. Thompson had three sons Thomas, Issac Tant, and William.

these are grandchildren or ggrandchildren of James Charles Pickett and Elizabeth Brintle.

This is the son of my great aunt Mat Hicks Portwood she was born in paulding co ga and moved to Atlanta after she married. Her husband was Joul Hulsey Portwood, Mom say that Chessel died in Powder Springs Ga when his house blew up,from a natural gas leak, many years ago, after he had left home. I now have a scribble book that belonged to Hulsey and he has scribbled his name in it and he wrote when he was born and I am Joul Hulsey Portwood in it. This I found in some old stuff that my grandmother had saved and she died in 1943.

Paulding co Ga, Married to Annie Lou Bell He died in 1985 at 76 yr. this Picture was probably taken in the early 1940 or before. HIs father was James Albert married to laurel parker, gf was James Charles married to Elizabeth Brintle, ggf was Malachia Pickett from nc/sc married to Mary Wesson, whose father was Micajah Pickett from sc/nc and micajah wife was Susana Thompson Johns, believed to be from Ireland. His ggf malachia was in cobb co ga in 1830 from nc. then in Paulding co after 1830.

Mallie's brothers' and sisters' were Henry Grady Pickett, Joseph, Malakia, Silas, Maybell Shipp, Beulah Freeman, Ella Bone, Alice Pickett Maudling Curtis. Malakia's Children were Charles, Joyce, Larry and Mike Pickett.
Grandchildren- Karin, Jane, Mark, Alison, Valerie, ggc Ethan, Ive, Darion, Kamden, Malea, Jonah, Malakia.

James Charles b1829 SC, fought in the Civil War his mother was Martha Jane Wesson SC b1800. his father was Malachia born in NC,lived in SC and GA.grand father was Micajah Pickett from sc/nc his gm was Susannah Thompson Johns Ire & nc. His ggf was Micajah Sr born VA died NC. gggf was John Pickett b1675-1765 and Mary May or Mildmay or Mess found all three on web, from va. ggggf was Henry 1641-1702 (b England) and Sarah Southgate 1642-1699, 2 Elizabeth ?.

I have found new information on this picture,
on a Rollins site they have the same picture
and they say it is Thomas Jefferson Rollins
from Paulding Co GA and TX. This could be, as
he would be my ggm Nancy Rollins Parker's brother. My grandmother was Laura Rollins Parker Pickett married to James Albert Pickett,
the grandson of Malachi.Thomas Jefferson Rollins was the uncle or Laura Parker Pickett.

This was my original message, what we Pickett,s thought.
We think that this is Malachia Pickett son of Micajah Pickett from Rutherford NC, Malachia moved to GA from Greenville co SC and Rutherford co NC in the 1830. He owned the land where the Pickett.s Mill Civil War Site and now State Park is located in Paulding CO GA. This site was called the Hell Hole. Malachi mother was Susanna Thompson Johns from Rutherford NC. Malachi was born in Rutherford Co NC in 1803 - died 1886 in Dallas Paulding Co GA.
1.Henry Pickett b1641 Eng and Sarah Southgate, his parents were William Pickett II 1600-1684 Eng and Anne Sanford abt 1630-1690. Henry,s siblings were James Sanford Pickett b1655, Nicholas 1656-1692, George 1658-1692.

This is William Hicks wife was Frances Anderson they were from Paulding Co Ga in the Braswell Mt. Their children were Sam, Joe, Acker, John, Elizabeth Ava Bell, Lou Sheppard and Matt Portwood. His wife died when his youngest child was small. Later William lived with Eliza Braswell when he was older, his children liked her.

Alma Bell Fair and her children Ruth and Willie and Arthur. Ruth and her dau Nadine died in a car wreck in, I heard Chattanooga TN. Alma was daughter of Issac T Bell and Elizabeth Rawlings from Rome Ga and Dallas Ga, ALma and her family lived in Cartersville GA. Her gf was Thomas Bell Rome GA. Thompson was born in Richmond Co GA(Augusta) jan 20, 1837 died in Haralson CO GA in 1916 (Buchannan). penson records show he was discharged with disability 6 20, 1863. Private in civil war.

This is William Hicks I and wife Nancy Forsyth And their son Alexander, I was
told that the younger man could be Dr Malcolm Hicks , their grandson. The little girl is Loudie Frances Shepard their gd. The daughter of their son William Monroe or(Mark) Hicks .
The writing under the picture says they are different members of the family.
However, I have a picture of William M Hicks their son he is my ggf and that
man in the picture is not him, it is his father. I was told this by the person
who gave me the picture, also. He had received some new information on the picture.

William M Hicks was married to Frances Anderson first when she died he married
Mandy Braswell. William M Hicks children are Joseph, John Noel, William Acker,
Susan Hicks Taylor, Mattie (Martha Jane HIcks Portwood, Samuel Dean Hicks,
Loudie Hicks Shepard and my GM Ava Elizabeth Hicks Bell wife of Edwin A Bell.

This is James Charles Pickett & Son James Albert Pickett from New Hope,
Paulding Co GA. They were raised on the land where the Pickett Mill State Park
is located in a house on Due West Road. Malachi was J C Pickett's father.

J C was married to Elizabeth Brintle the mother of J A. Her father was Oliver
Brintle and mother was Sally Brown from Caswell Co NC.

These pictures are from a group picture and retouched as little as possible
so as not to corrupt them.

I think, That this is Thompson Bell and Elizabeth Tant Bell, Thompson born 1803 &
Elizabeth Born 1809 in Richmond Co GA, Married abt 1835, Thompson 1st wife was
Mary Williamson from Augusta, Richmond Co GA.

This was a hard find and retouch, I think that this Is tom & Elizabeth because
these pictures belonged to my g gf Isaac Tant Bell and Elizabeth Rollins who
lived in Floyd Co GA and Polk Co GA and died at my gf place in Paulding Co Ga.

Thompson moved to Floyd Co GA before 1940, his sons moved to Rockmart, Polk
Co GA and were there in the 1960 census, his son my GGF was Isaac Tant Bell who
married Elizabeth Rollins in Floyd or Polk Co GA. My GF Edwin Adolph Bell was
found in the 1860 in Polk Co GA as a child. Ed married Elizabeth Hicks Bell and
moved to Paulding Co GA and lived in High Shoals community untill about 1940
where he moved to New Hope GA in Paulding co for the last 12 years of his life.

Ed and Elizabeth are buried in New Hope Cemetery in Paulding Co GA, Isaac is
buried in the Friendship ceme at the Friendship Church ceme on Braswell Mountain
Road in Paulding Co GA. between Rockmart and Burnt Hickory GA. Thompson I found
once is buried in Haralson Co GA. Do not know which ceme and could never find
this information again. Probably Haralson closests to Rome, or Rockmart Co GA
which is next to Haralson co ga.

I found where Thompson married a Sarah Cooper in Floyd Co GA, I think that this
was my Thompson.

If anyone knows whom Thompson Bell's Parents were and where from before Richmond
Co GA, I would appreciate you emailing me at [contact link] with
