James Patrick Brennan & Colleagues of the Boston Elevated Railway
James Patrick Brennan (1886-1968) stands third from right in the backrow of the picture of him with Motormen colleagues of the Boston Elevated Railway. James was the son of Patrick Brennan (1853-1915) and Ellen Frizzell (1860-1935) of Tubbercurry, Co.Sligo, Ireland. James emigrated to the USA in April 1911. Both before and after military service he worked for the BER in the Milk St and Grove St. Stations. He died at CarrowreaghCooper, Tubbercurry on the morning of 8 May 1968, the day after his wife, Mary Kate Cooke's funeral. He and Mary Kate are buried in Rhue Cemetery, Tubbercurry.
