James Adkins b. 28 Oct 1802 in VA & d. 12 Apr 1878, Jackson Co., AL. Son of Richard Adkins & Rebecca Burrrows; Susan Brown b. 18 Mar 1804 Brunswick Co., VA and d. 20 Mar 1884 in Limrock, AL. She was the daughter of Rawleigh Brown and Nancy Abernathy. James & Susan married 25 Dec 1822. They were the parents of 9 children.
Date & Place: at Smith's Chapel in Aspel, Jackson Co., Alabama United States
