James Pannozzi Earliest Known Picture - 1935: Picture taken about 1935 outside James Pannozzi's home at 19 Sabra St., Cranston Rhode Island 02910 (long cottage, first house on the street on the right, at the intersection of Sabra St. and Molter St.).
The property originally included a barber shop, erected in the early 1920's that was torn down when Route 10 was constructed in 1957.
James Pannozzi (name in Italy was Vincenzo Pannozzo)was born in Fondi in 1885 to Rafaella Filomena Carrocia and Salvatore Pannozzo (1844 - 18??). The family originally came from a farm in Campodimele and moved to Fondi around 1850. Brothers include Louis Pannozza and his twin Andre who settled in Danbury, Connecticut, Daniel Pannozzi Sr. who lived on Sprague St. Cranston, Rhode Island, and Joseph Pannozza of Danbury Connecticut.
James had two sons and a daughter, and was married three times, predeceased by two wives. His children were: Frank Pannozzi (1918-1985), Clara Pannozzi 1912-1920, and Dr. James Pannozzi D.O.M., of Sarasota, Florida.
