Jerome A Mutchler, 1939

adopted son of Clifford J. Mutchler and Hazel Bretz grew up in the Plaza area Kansas City,Missouri. Hazel passed away when He was around 5 years old then his birth mother Pauline E. Smeltzer moved in the household as "The Nurse" and took care of him which he did remembered this time with her. He was never told he was adopted until he found out around age 30 but didn't find out Pauline was his mother until she wrote a letter to him in 1995
