From left: Joe Manning, Joseph Manton Jarrell, Charles Shelby Jarrell, and John Suter. Joseph was an engineer for the State of TN, and designed the alarm system for Clarksvilles' fire dept. Charles is his son. Joe and John were either employees at JM Jarrells' wagon shop, or fire fighters themselves. As Joseph had a wagon shop, it is entirely possible that he also built this particular engine. The writing on the picture is that of Frank Gracey Jarrell, Josephs' son. ... show more
