The Dippreys come from the Berks County, PA area. John's Fathers name is John P. Dipprey and his grandfather is George Dipprey born about 1808 m Abigail Martin in 1832 in Knox County,PA. Lived in Delaware County and Champaign County, Ohio. 1870 lived in Macon City, Macon County, MO (Moberly,MO). George dies in Moberly in 1878 and wife lives with son-in-law and daughter in Randolph County, MO, Frederick and Matilda Dipprey Holdenriter. Abigail dies in Jackson County, MO in 1898 (Kansas City). John P. Dipprey moves and gets married in Knox County, IL 1862 and remarries in Peoria, IL in 1871. He and his family move to Denver Colorado and finally to Travis County, TX (Austin, TX) in 1880.
