Found at an antique store badly faded and covered with fungus spots. This is my (so far) best attempt to repair it. It's a sloppy rush job and I'm not happy with it, but at least Mr. Engelking is visible now. The original was claimed and returned to a family member back around April 2017.

A photo of Greenwood Hardy found in an antique store. Written on the back is "Greenwood Hardy age 5". This is an unusual name for a girl. I may be misreading it, so I uploaded a separate image of the inscription. Whoever she is, she's adorable. The photo is a refreshing change from the formal poses I usually see from kids in this era. UPDATE: thanks to the comments, I was able to identify her and added her family information to her biography page.

A photo of the four oldest children of Frederick Muehlhause. Found in a Texas antique store. Handwritten on the back is "Fred Mühlhause, Belton, Texas". I estimated the date of photo from the apparent ages of the kids. This was probably taken in Belton where the family lived.

Found in a Texas antique store. "Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Friedrich" written on the back. Stamped "Lackey's Studio, Temple, Tex." Paper with a "beaded" texture seems to have been popular in the late 1920s - makes it difficult to get a good scan. I love her fancy head-dress.

Found at an antique store in Texas. Handwritten on the back: "L. W. Mueller & H. Allen, May 1914, Temple". Louis' World War I draft card describes him as tall, so I assume that he's the fellow on the right. I haven't identified H. Allen yet.

CLAIMED - photo has been returned to family members. Found at an antique store. Handwritten on back: "Little Agnes Bracken and her little pony and buggy. That is Mrs. Bracken holding him". Agnes was born in 1903, so I'm guessing at the date based on a wild guess at her age in the picture.

Found in an antique store in Texas. Writing on back "Sarah + Richard Prause". This photo was badly faded and covered with black spots. I managed to remove most of the worst of the spots, but was reluctant to do too much work on their faces for fear of accidentally deleting facial features.

A photo postcard found in an antique store in Texas. Writing on the back says "Little Bill Davis". He may have come from the same album as the photos of Dorothy Davis and her sister Walterine. He doesn't seem to be one of their brothers though, and the handwriting on the back doesn't match either of them. Perhaps a cousin?

There's no name or any other identifying information on this photo. I found him in central Texas, so I think it's likely the photo was taken somewhere in that area. He looks like he's enjoying that rare snowfall. Internet searches revealed that the winter of 1894-1895 was unusually cold in much of the northern hemisphere. The coast of the Gulf of Mexico got unusually heavy snowfalls in February 1895. Much of Texas got hit around the middle of February, especially along the coast. The National Weather Service website says this: "February 12-15, 1895 - Widespread snow over the state, even as far south as the lower Valley. North Texas received between 3-5 inches, but a band of 10-20 inches blanketed the upper Texas coast, including Houston and Beaumont/Port Arthur."
