John H. Love, soldier
Found in a box of family papers, we would like to identify this man/and rank according to uniform. We have reason to believe he may be related to our family. May have been son of Gen Love whose wife Luci Clinton died in childbirth in early 1800's. He left infant with her family, remarried in TN, and never returned for child. John H. Love could be half-brother of gggrandfather, Clinton Love b. 1804 NY.
