John McWhorter in Union Co, S.C. 1790 census. He was born about 1749 in Albemarle Co., Virginia and died on June 7, 1833 in Casey County, Kentucky. He was married first to Elizabeth Jasper and he was married second to Elizabeth McClure. His son, Elijah McWhorter was born in about 1790 in South Carolina. Elijah married Mary "Polly" Pigg. Elijah's son, Jesse McWhorter was born in 1813 in Clay County, Kentucky. He married Lucinda Benge. Jesse's son, William McWhorter was married to Jane Ann Cloyd. They had a daughter named Eliza (born in 1874 and died in 1964 in Laurel County, Kentucky). Eliza married John Jerome McCracken (born in 1860 and died in 1933 in Laurel County, Kentucky).
