This is a photo of my father's Uncle Rob (full name, Josiah Roberts Showalter). He was born in 1881 in Pulaski Co., VA, amd died in 1970 in Kenbridge, VA. His father was Nanthaniel Pryor Showalter, my great-grandfather, and his mother was Mary Louise Roberts. Rob, along with his brother Giles, ran a flour mill in Blackstone, VA in the early 1900's. When this mill flooded, they then started one in Kenbridge, VA. This mill was eventually destroyed by fire.
