Back of photo is written: Leigh Ferris, Feb. 6, 1900. Waukin Normal School, Waukon, Ia.
front of photo is stamped : Waukon, Iowa
Looking to give original photo to family researcher.
Could this be the Leigh Ferris who is son of Mortimor and Olive Ferris

I spent the night researching Leigh, but I have not come up with a living descendant yet. He looks EXACTLY like my husband, whose last name is Ferris, but would only be a very distant relative. Great picture--thanks for the post! (If I find a descendant, I will let you know.)

I'll try to find something on Leigh. Not sure I'll have any luck. I'm new at it. We have many Ferris ancestors...and he looks EXACTLY like my son. Thanks for sharing.
