Levi was a Civil War vet from Missouri. Son of Thomas Morgan and Brookie Kyger. Lydia is the daughter of Thomas Holeman and Dorcas Taylor. I have not researched every single one of their 65 grandchildren.
Kristy Schurman Levi Morgan is my great-great grandfather. Levi is the father of Elisha Andrew Morgan, who is the father of Dale Franklin Morgan, who is the father of Martha Jean Morgan-Goucher, who is the mother of me Kristy Jean Goucher-Schurman. I have recently started researching my family and am always excited to get a new hit so thank you for this.
Kristy Schurman Seeing as my mother attended her grandfather Elisha's funeral and actually lived with them in KS as a child and her father is Dale Franklin, your tree is wrong. There is a Morgan Family Reunion in Fall River KS every year the second weekend of Sept. All of Elisha and Lillie's children have passed away and the reunion consists of all the grandchildren and the next generation. I will be glad to pass on that you who is not directly connected does not believe they exist. Perhaps you should check your facts before you try to discredit people.
Kristy Schurman Perhaps you should not assume someone beside yourself is incorrect. Thank you for insulting not just myself, but my grandfather and great grandfather. Perhaps you should research people before you post pictures of those you do not know. It makes no difference how far you think you have gone back, yes I know our heritage in this country starts with Morgan Morgan and I know who has and has not served on the military. I also know who exists and does not.
Carolyn Hall I have asked Ancient Faces to remove the comments posted or remove this entire page. These comments induced an adverse effect on my medical condition and since Ancient Faces has not responded to my request, I will no longer use Ancient Faces as a genealogical tool and will also ignore any comments added to pictures I have posted here. Together with other Morgan family members I have been working on this family tree for 16 years and it has been an ongoing process of editing and adding information. That's what genealogy is all about. As more information becomes available, you add and edit.
