This is Lula Peck (1886-1966). She married Edgar Moore Smiley in 1906 in Kankakee, Illinois and they had three children: Edgar Hiram, Lee M. and Esther Mae. Both Lee and Ester died in childhood. She ran a boarding house for working men for years and was a master cook. Both she and husband Edgar died in Chicago Heights, Illinois and are buried in Oaklawn Cemetery, Chicago.
