Maggie {Blanton} Dyer ? -# 1

This picture does not say who it is . I "think" IT IS NOT PROVEN - that this is Maggie Blanton -first wife of my great great grandfather Herman English Dyer Sr. The picture is very small and on the back is written " to ms maggie blanton" . The picture was sent to Maggie , although in those days often when pictures were taken the photographer sent the pictures out made out to the subject of the photograph. I have seen this happen before. If this is Maggie then the hat and dress are right from the period she was alive (1883-1812) -but this is still Not proven. I also think this to be Maggie due to the fact that Herman Washington Dyer told me that that their was only one known photograph of his mother and this photograph was at one point his.
