Malissa Ann "Mattie" Reynolds was born 20 April 1842 in Lawrence Co., Ohio and died 30 Jan 1918 in Des Arc, Iron Co., Missouri. She married Samuel Henry Vallance of Greenup, Greenup Co., Kentucky on 19 March 1861 at Gray Branch, Greenup Co., Kentucky. They were the parents of nine children. Malissa and Samuel are buried in the Rowland Woods Cemetery, Wayne, Patterson Co., Missouri.
