This is my 2nd great grandmother. She died after 1910. We aren't sure how old she was in this photo. She was born in April 1842 in County Donegal, Ireland. She married Michael in Ireland. They came over on the Bridgewater in May 1863 arriving at Castle Gardens. They had seven children with two surviving, James Joseph O'Donnell and Alice May O'Donnell Killen (Eli). James married Mary Harrigan and they had my grandfather Lester Aloyisius.

I am happily married, the mother of four, and grandmama to one. I enjoy politics, history, genealogy, reading and writing, primarily prose, poetry and short stories. I also enjoy photography. I am researching my paternal and maternal ancestry - primarily O'Donnell and Armstrong. Rath Dé ort!
