Mrs. John B. (Diadema Turley) Sheeks

Diadema was born in Kentucky. She married Col. John B. Sheeks on 15 July 1824 in Lawrence County, Indiana and gave birth to 13 children: Catherine (1825-1865); George (1826-1879); Ruth (1828-1919); David (1830-1894); Newton (1832-1833); Jane aka Jennie (1833-1866); Hugh (1835-1908); Elizabeth (1837-1921); Lucetta or Lucetia (1838-1901); Benjamin (1842-1929); Dianah aka Dyne (1844-?); Rosanna (1846-1848); Mary A. (1851-1929).
Diadema died 14 Feb 1890 in Mitchell and is buried at the Mitchell City Cemetery, Mitchell, Indiana.
