Mrs Lawrence Thompson 1942 Montana
Mrs Lawrence Thompson in the Flathead Valley, Montana, 1942. The Thompsons were a part of the special area project.
Mrs Thompson is sewing on a machine that I recognize . . . my mother had a treadle sewing machine in the 1950's that was very similar. On the wall behind her are muskrat skins that were trapped by her husband. And it looks like a gas lantern on the table. A very neat tableau!
