Dora & Ella Carpenter
These two pretty ladies are two of my grandmother's sisters - Dora and Ella Carpenter. Neither lady married or had families of their own. Ella (or as we called her, Ellie) taught in the area schools for a while. Both lived out their lives at the Carpenter homeplace in Pipers Gap area of Carroll County, VA.
