Nannie Addeline Vallance Wedding
Nannie Addeline Vallance born 3 Jul 1886 in Green Valley, Denton Co., Texas and died 19 November 1966 in Memphis, Hall Co., Texas. She was the daughter of the late Henry Green Vallance and Elizabeth Gollihu. Nannie married Milton Newton Orr 1 April 1906 in Plaska, Hall Co.,Texas. Milton was the son of the late William Warren Orr and Emaline Demarius Cowden of Tennessee and Plaska, Hall Co., Texas. Milton was born 1 January 1888 in Pulaski Co. Tennesse and died 28 August 1977 in Wellington, Collingsworth Co., Texas. Milton and Nannie were the parents of seven children. Milton was a farmer/rancher in the Plaska, Texas community for many years. Plaska ,Texas was originally named Lodge but renamed by the father of Milton and was supposed to be Pulaski after their home county in Tennesse. There was a mistake in the recording and the name came back as Plaska. Nannie and Milton are buried in the Fairview Cemetery, Memphis Hall Co., Texas.
