Noah Beery, Sr. was the brother of actor Wallace Beery and father of Noah Beery, Jr. who appeared in the 1970s television series The Rockford Files.

You were paying too much in 1925. In 1934 it was only 7 cents. And we got a serial, a cartoon, a Movietone Newsreel, and the movie and once in a while a travel short.

Robert, thanks for sharing! Originally I thought the show was done about 1834, but when I googled it, it was 1925...I guess pre-depression movies cost more?! Wish we had all the features at the movies now...I kinda miss the newsreels and cartoons...and 'double features'!

Wallace Beery is my fifth cousin, once removed. It is rather charming to have such a character as a relative. I have the Beery Family History which goes back to the 1700's and details the lives of thousands of Beerys and their kin. Anyone need a lookup -email me.
