Our First Winter at Tahoe
The first winter we spent at Lake Tahoe the icicles went down to the ground. I was managing The Woods Resort in Tahoe Vista for my brother-in-law. My son Jan started the school year in Danville, so Pieter & I were there alone with Ming Chee. Luckily, the Post Office was across the street in the Sandy Beach Hotel where we spent many evenings by the fireplace watching TV & playing games with the Postmaster's family.
