Parsley Family
This picture is of my paternal grandmother and her parents and siblings. My grandmother, Beulah (Parsley) Tuttle is sitting on her father's lap.
Front row: Charles "Charlie", Beulah, Ruth, and (baby) Kenneth Parsley.
Back row: Barbara, Hayward, and Edna Parsley.
Charles and Ruth Parsley had two more children after this picture was taken and they were named Conrad "Cub" Parsley (b. 4/17/1937) and Kathleen (Parsley) McFadden (b. 4/27/1934). They also had a baby that died named Alvin Barkley Parsley (b. 2/7/1932).
Charles Parsley was the son of Pleasant "Lee" Parsley and Margaret Ray. Ruth (Bowling) Parsley was the daughter of Lucinda McFadden and Alex Bowling. Ruth's grandparents were Mary "Polly" Garland & Isham Bowling and Mary Ann Williams & Westerfield McFadden. Charlie's grandparents were Mary "Polly" (May) Parsley and Nancy (Hodge) & John Ray.
Charles Parsley was in the U.S. Army in WW1.
