Carpenter, Pernetti or Grosso man?

Carpenter, Pernetti or Grosso man?
This picture was found in a pile of photographs over a year ago, with other family photos. It is very clearly dated on the back, Oct. 29, 1905. It is in sepia. I know it is not anyone in my Mother's family. It could be Vincenzo Grosso, born in 1872 in Italy, or one of his in laws, the Pernetti family, or perhaps one of the Carpenter family. The Grossos and Pernettis lived in Manhattan, NY after coming from Italy. The Vincenzo Grosso, Gesualda Pernetti wedding was in February 1897 in Manhattan. Both families lived in Manhattan, NY. Vincenzo and Gesualda Grosso lived in Philadelphia, PA for a few years around 1918 to 1923. Their son Ernesto (born in 1899), married Helen Carpenter of Philadelphia in March of 1918. They lived briefly with Vincenzo and Gesualda after the birth of their 1st child Vincent J. Grosso who was born in December of 1918.
After 1912, most of the Pernetti family moved to Los Angeles, CA.
I am open to any and all suggestions. This photo is in pristine condition and meant a lot to someone.
