Possible Cherokee Man w/long gun & revolver

Photo Details

This photo was left by my great aunt, Nina "Lois" Berry Starr Hodgkins. She said it was a BOUDINOT, but may be a STARR or LOWERY/LOWRY/LOWREY

Mystery: Who is this man? It was believed to be William Penn Boudinot, but have found out for sure it is not. My great aunt, Nina "Lois' Berry was adopted by Samuel Saguila " Pony " Starr and his wife Eliza Catherine "Carrie" Horn. I feel sure he is a family member. He could be a STARR, LOWERY, or REESE.
in Oklahoma

Clydene Cannon I've seen this picture before - just can't remember where?? I think he is definitely from one of the Five Civilized Tribes. Will keep an eye out and let you know if I find who it is.

Ann Reese This man may be Charles Perkins Reese -my husband's grandfather out of Muskogee Oklahoma (we have no photo of him), but I have a photo of his wife and children and 2 of the children look like this man. Chas was known to carry rifles and pistols and was related closely to the Starr family. I do have photos of Pony Starr - and this man is NOT him. My (late) husband's name is Ponie Starr Reese....can you give me more info re the photo?
