Powell family mystery - possible Muchow photo
This photo was found among my family's old photos, identified as great-grandpa Powell family on a note stuck to the back. The photo was analyzed and given an approximate date of 1900 based on clothing styles.

The man in front looks similar to William Powell who was born in Fond du Lac Co., Wisconsin in 1861 and died in Sioux Falls, SD in 1930. William's father Jeremiah Powell was born in New York, moved to Fond du Lac Co., Wisconsin and later removed to Brookings Co., SD where he died in 1886. However, the people in the picture are not familiar to my family. Does anyone know the identity of this family? This might be a Muchow family photo based on similarities to a Muchow photo I saw at a Minnehaha Co. SD Genealogical Society web site.
Date & Place: in USA
