I think this is great!!! Why did Judge write such a Doc ? My surname is also Brown,
My ancestor William Brown Jr. born Scotland 1732 in Edinburgh, Scotland.
He fought in Rev War also while living in Sc, was also in militia.Exciting indeed
Do you have any other information on this particular Samuel Brown, such as where he was born and died? That name runs in my father's family. Looking for descendents of Samuel Houston Brown

Am of predominantly Scot-Irish heritage. Looking for info on Brown family of Pope County AR; Gaston family of NC; Douglas family of Canada and Scotland; Main family of Canada and Scotland. My paternal great grandfather was Samuel Houston Brown, lived around Hector, Russellville areas of AR. Paternal grandmother's family were Gastons of NC. Maternal great grands met and married in Canada, came to USA by covered wagon to Colorado. Lived in Cripple Creek and Steamboat Springs areas before coming to Maywood, CA. Would truly appreciate any info that could be passed to me regarding them. Maternal great grandmother was Jessie E. Douglas, married to ggfather, John Thomas Main. Also interested in the Hobbs family of Oklahoma, that great grandfather took part in the run on the Cherokee Strip. Settled around Tonkawa, Pond Creek.
