Robert Miller Black was b. 12/16/1845 Mt. Sterling, KY. & d. 6/11/1899 Sargent Twp., Douglas Co., IL. Parents; Andrew Black (1807-1885) & Margaret Lockridge (1811-1863). He m. (1) Mary E. Hutchings (1848-1875) in 1873. No issue. He m. (2) Laura C. Moore in 1889. Issue: Robt. O. (1890-1970), George (1892-1977), Lois (1893-1922), Andrew C. (1898-1979)
