Sarah Isabel Ashworth Neff, nickname Sadie Belle by her brothers. Born to Lewis Ashworth and Eliza Rice in Mattoon Illinois Sept. 28, 1877;died Feb. 23, 1949 in Connersville, Indiana.
She had traveled to to Connersville to visit her brother, James Lewis Ashworth, Connersville druggist, who was dating Lulu Neff. Sadie met Lulu's brother, Charles, and fell in love. She and Charles William Neff traveled back to Mattoon Illinois and married on Easter Sunday, April 7, 1900. submitter's paternal gr-grandmother
