Worked as advertising copywriter in Michigan and New Jersey. Married J. Otis Davis in 1968; divorced in 1975. Moved to Washington, DC in 1975. Author, Guide to the New World, founder Trust for Transpersonal Property. Parents William and Phoebe Layton, sisters Andree Layton Roaf and Mary J. Layton, life partner Robert Barraclough.
