Born Clara Delores Layton, moved with familty to Muskegon, Michigan in 1951. Graduated from Lansing, MI Sexton High School and earned Bachelor's degree from Michigan State Univ. in advertising. Worked as advertising copywriter in Michigan and New Jersey. Married J. Otis Davis in 1968; divorced in 1975. Moved to Washington, DC in 1975. Author, Guide to the New World, founder Trust for Transpersonal Property. Parents William and Phoebe Layton, sisters Andree Layton Roaf and Mary J. Layton, life partner Robert Barraclough.
