Mary Elizabeth Hisey was born 1842 in Clark co Ohio, lived in Stephenson co Il and went back to Ohio to marry Seth in 1864 while he was working in an infirmary and died 1923 in Kansas City MO. She was the niece of Wm. Hale Winchester who lived very near the Emerys on the Stephenson co line in IL. Hale's daughter Harriet married Jonathan Burrill, brother of Charles Wesley Burrill who married Viance Emery. Hale's daughter Paulina married immediate neighbor William Tunks who was also from clark co Ohio. After Paulina died in 1849 he married Armadilla McIntire whose sister Prudence married Josiah Bartlett Emery. And, finally, William Tunks married third, Candace Sarah Emery sister to Viance and Josiah.
