Little boy! Sherman Richard Shook Sr. was born on July 15, 1933, in Greene, Iowa, his father, David, was 38 and his mother, Zella, was 35. He married Marilyn June Anderson on May 27, 1951. They had three children during their marriage. He died on December 6, 1955, in Osage, Iowa, at the age of 22.
