Studio Portrait of a Man
This is two photographs: a male in one and the name and address of the photographer as printed on the frame's corner in another.
On the back of the photograph was the name Lee Rowsi, along with 25 Harrison and the figures of 600 over 125 with a line as if added together and the sum of 725. My husband at the time of the purchase of these photos/frames was an antique dealer. We traveled from Washington state to Maine and back cross county buying antiques along the way. That was 15 years ago.I have always thought about how very much the family members would love these photographs. As a genealogist my heart aches for the many lost and discarded photographs that are the only glimpse of a long ago generation.
