The George Apple Family

This is a picture of the George Apple Family, of the Cabin Hill area west of Goshen, Elkhart county, Indiana. Circa 1890-1905. George was born in Lancaster county, Pennsylvania(July 1826), moved to Stark county, Ohio, then to Elkhart county, Indiana. Parents unknown (any help). Wife is Susan Shirk, born in Lancaster county, Pennsylvania (Dec 1831). Parents are Samuel Shirk and Susana Baker. George and Susan seated, daughter Clara is standing far left; niece of Susan Shirk is Amanda Smith (Minnie Apple), standing behind George and Susan; the others are unknown in picture but are Monroe S Apple, Adaline Apple (married Van Scoik), Ella Apple (married Hoover and a Miller), Harvey S Apple, and Henry L Apple (married a Granger).
