Vanderbilt Wedding: Celebrity wedding frenzies are nothing new. When Gladys Moore Vanderbilt married Count Laszlo Szechenyi of the Magyar kingdom, the wedding was covered in the papers, every step of the way. There were articles about her trousseau, their honeymoon, her wedding dress, etc. This photo is of the crowds outside of the Vanderbilt house the day of the wedding.
