Victoria McCoy
Victoria McCoy is related to the famous McCoys of the feud, having been born to William McCoy and Sarah Ann Maynard in Pike County KY, and living in Mingo and Logan Counties of WV also. She had at least 11 children, two daughters from an unverified father, Myrtle and Alice, and 9 by her known husband George Washington Hobbs. Victoria was b. 1866/67 and d. 1935, and is buried in Memorial Park in Logan County WV. She related that as a girl, she saw one of the feud shootings take place, with a cousin of hers being shot as he crossed the Tug River I believe. Don't know details for certain on that story, but it was vivid for her.
Date & Place: in Mingo County, West Virginia
