William. H. Faulkingham, Master Mariner
This picture is my Gr.Gr. Grandfather, Master Mariner William H. Faulkingham who was born around 1843. The picture was taken around 1880. I have a few pieces of furniture from his ship, including the desk he used in his quarters and an organ stool that he brought back to Jonesport from Boston, along with an organ which he gave to my Gr. Gr. Grandmother. I have the original picture as well.
Date & Place: at Jonesport, ME. in Jonesport, Maine USA

Donna Manuel
I was born and raised in Schenectady, NY, but my maternal ancestry is all from New England, back to England and Germany. Some of the names are Faulkingham, Look, Lufkin, and Floyd. My paternal ancestry consisting of the names Tomas/Tamas/Thomas and Fakla is Hungarian and Czech. I will try to add some pictures to the site. My husband is of Greek and German descent, and some of his ancestral names are Manuel (Emmanuellous), Best, and Benfield.
