My Uncle Bill Miller served in the USMC with the 1st Marine Division during WWII (1942-1945)at Guadacanal and Iwo Jima and present at our U.S. Flag raising on Mt. Surabachi. He was discharged as a Corporal. Born & raised in Philadelphia, PA he passed away at age 75 in Florida.
