Willis and Angeline Hixon Stevens
Angeline Hixon Stevens was born March 6, 1852, the twin sister of Sarah Hixon Stevens, in the area of what is now Spring Mill State Park east of Mitchell, Indiana. They were the first twins born in Lawrence County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Timothy and Elizabeth Walker Hixon. She was married to Willis Stevens on December 30, 1869. She died March 9, 1937 and is buried in Mitchell Cemetery, Mitchell, Indiana.
Willis was born February 10, 1847 in Lawrence County, Indiana. He was a retired farmer at the time of his death on March 30, 1934.
